The Role
As an Employment Partner, you'll lead on complex and high-impact matters across both contentious and non-contentious workstreams. Clients span major corporates, public sector bodies, and high-growth SMEs – many with long-standing relationships. You’ll be key to the team’s continued growth and success, contributing to strategic client development, mentoring junior talent, and shaping the direction of the practice.
Key Areas of Focus Include:
* Bespoke training and advisory for senior leadership & HR
* TUPE and business transfers (domestic and cross-border)
* Corporate support on mergers, acquisitions & restructuring
* Employment litigation and dispute resolution
* Redundancy programmes and workforce restructuring
* Navigating trade union engagement and collective issues
* Specialist HR advice on performance, grievance & conduct
* Leading sensitive and high-stakes investigations
* Delivering strategic employment law solutions to complex challenges
What We’re Looking For:
✔ A proven track record as a senior Employment lawyer, ideally already operating at Partner level or a Legal Director ready to step up
✔ Strong client following or the ability to demonstrate a compelling business case
✔ Expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment work
✔ Genuine interest in leadership, mentoring and growing the team
✔ Strategic mindset and a collaborative, commercial approach
