How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    The Opportunity

The HR Guru is recruiting on behalf of SET Limited for an organised, proactive and customer-focused Customer Account Coordinator to join their Customer Services and Commercial team.

Reporting to the Customer Services Manager, you’ll play an important role in supporting customer accounts and making sure customers receive a professional, responsive and reliable service.

You’ll act as a key point of contact for customers, coordinate communications, maintain accurate account information and work closely with SET’s Commercial, Engineering and Operations teams to keep things moving.

If you enjoy building customer relationships, keeping on top of the detail and making sure actions are followed through properly, this could be a great next step.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Customer Services Manager and Commercial team with day-to-day account administration.
Acting as a primary point of contact for customer enquiries, updates and routine communications.
Preparing, maintaining and updating customer records, account information and internal databases.
Producing regular reports on account activity, order status, service updates and customer requirements.
Liaising with Engineering, Operations and Commercial teams to resolve queries and maintain service levels.
Monitoring customer issues and escalating concerns where required.
Assisting with quotations, proposals and account documentation.
Coordinating customer meetings and follow-up actions.
Supporting order processing and general customer administration.
Identifying opportunities to improve customer service processes and ways of working.

    What We’re Looking For

You’ll be someone who is organised, confident dealing with customers and comfortable managing several priorities at once.

    Ideally, you’ll have:

Previous experience in account coordination, customer service, commercial support or a similar role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    A customer-focused approach with strong relationship-building skills.
The ability to prioritise your workload and meet deadlines.
Good problem-solving skills and sound judgement.
Confidence using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience using CRM or ERP systems would be desirable.
Experience within an engineering, manufacturing or industrial environment would be advantageous, but isn’t essential.

    What SET Offers:

Salary of £28,000 – £30,000, depending on experience.
37-hour working week with a Friday lunchtime finish.
28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays, with three days reserved for the Christmas shutdown.
The opportunity to develop your skills within a specialist engineering business.
A collaborative working environment with experienced colleagues across Customer Services, Commercial, Engineering and Operations.
The opportunity to take ownership of customer accounts and contribute ideas to improve customer service processes.
A varied role supporting customers across a range of specialist engineering projects and services.

    Why Join SET

This is a role where organisation, communication and follow-through really matter.

You’ll be joining a business where you can build strong customer relationships, work closely with different teams and have a genuine impact on the service customers receive.

SET is looking for someone who takes pride in doing things properly, communicates professionally and enjoys being the person who keeps everything on track.

    Interested

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you.

Please send us your CV outlining your relevant experience and we’ll be in touch to discuss the role further.
