How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Are you an organised, proactive, and customer-focused professional who enjoys building relationships and making a difference? We're looking for a Credit Controller to join our client’s growing team and play a key role in supporting both their clients and their business.

This is more than a collections role, it's an opportunity to become a trusted partner, helping clients manage their accounts while contributing to the continued success of a friendly and ambitious team.

As the Credit Controller, you'll ensure outstanding balances are collected efficiently while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.

You'll work closely with the Account Executives and Finance team to resolve queries, reduce aged debt, and help deliver a first-class customer experience.

    Duties of Credit Controller:

Proactively managing and reducing aged debt across a varied client portfolio via phone, email and letter
Building strong working relationships with clients and internal teams.
Investigating and resolving payment queries promptly.
Allocating receipts and maintaining accurate customer account records.
Producing debtor reports and supporting month-end processes.
Working collaboratively with Account Executives to resolve outstanding issues.
Identifying opportunities to improve credit control processes and efficiencies.
Ensuring compliance with company procedures and FCA standards.

We're looking for someone who is:

Experienced in credit control, accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
    A confident and professional communicator.
Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple priorities.
Skilled at building positive relationships while having confident payment conversations.
A proactive problem solver with excellent attention to detail.
Comfortable using finance systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Experience within insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential—we value attitude and willingness to learn.
If you're looking for a role where your contribution is recognised and where you can develop your career in a thriving insurance business, we'd love to hear from you
