How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Position: MIG Welder

    Location: Pembroke

    Start Date: Immediate

    Duration: 3 months

    Hours of Work: Approx 38-50hrs/week, Mon-Sun

    PAYE Pay Rates:

    1st 38 hrs Mon-Fri: £17.64-£20.67/hr, including Holiday Pay (dependant on experience)

    Over 38 hrs Mon-Fri and Sat am: £23.61-£27.86/hr

    Sat pm and Sun All hours: £31.48-£36.90/hr

    The Role:

    Integrate Engineering are recruiting for additional MIG Welders on behalf of our client, a leader in the marine engineering sector, for workshop positions in Pembroke. Duties will include:

    -Understanding and interpreting engineering drawings

    -Welding of metal fabricated items using MIG solid wire on mild steel

    -Using hand and machine tools

    -Responsible for ensuring work is to a standard to ensure quality of end product

    Requirements:

    Apprenticeship or similar training as a Welder of previous coding within last 3 years

    Experience of MIG sold wire welding on mild steel

    Experience of working with a wide range of instructions/drawings requiring some interpretation

    Ability to work as part of a team to achieve quality standards and meet production deadline

    Ability to work well with minimal supervision
