Accounts Administrator

We’re currently working with a professional business based in Burford, who are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to join their growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated individual keen to gain hands-on experience in a finance function .

Key responsibilities include:

Responding to broker queries via phone and email, and directing them to the appropriate teams
Monitoring the accounts inbox and ensuring timely responses
Posting incoming broker payments and performing daily reconciliations
Processing daily claims payments and managing associated queries
Following up on outstanding payments and assisting with debt collection
Communicating with brokers to resolve payment discrepancies
Supporting the Management Accountant and Financial Controller with ad hoc tasks
The ideal candidate will have:

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
A proactive, problem-solving mindset
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Good working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and has a strong eye for detail. You’ll be a confident communicator and have the ability to manage your workload accurately and efficiently.
