The successful candidate will be responsible for applying premium coatings and finishes to an exceptional standard, achieving a flawless, mirror-quality finish that meets the highest standards expected within the luxury yacht industry.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces to a high standard, including sanding, masking and priming
Apply primers, topcoats and clear finishes using professional spray equipment
Mix and prepare paints and coatings to precise specifications
Maintain strict quality and finish standards throughout all stages of the process
Inspect finished work and identify and rectify defects such as runs, orange peel and other imperfections
Work accurately to tight tolerances and project deadlines
Maintain clean and organised working areas
Follow all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Marine Paint Sprayer or in high-end automotive spraying
Strong knowledge of marine coatings and professional spray systems
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to achieving a premium finish
Ability to work accurately to tight tolerances and deadlines
Good understanding of surface preparation, paint application and finishing processes
Desirable Experience
Previous experience working on luxury yachts or superyachts
Formal certification in spray painting, coatings application or a related discipline
Experience working with high-end marine paint systems and premium finishes
