We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join an established precision engineering business based in Kensworth, near Dunstable.
CNC Turner Roles and Responsibilities:
* Program, set and operate CNC turning machinery
* Create CNC programmes offline using CAD/CAM
* Work from engineering drawings and specifications
* Ensure components are produced to the required quality standards and tolerances
* Meet production deadlines and internal milestones
* Identify and resolve machining and production issues
* Maintain a high standard of quality throughout the manufacturing process
* Work effectively as part of a team
CNC Turner Ideal Candidate:
* Extensive experience in CNC turning
* Strong CNC programming, setting and operating experience
* Experience using CAD/CAM
* The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
* Experience machining different materials
* Strong problem-solving skills
* Good communication and organisational skills
* A proactive and hands-on approach
* The ability to work well as part of a team
* Good computer skills
* CMM experience is desirable
CNC Turner Working Hours and Benefits:
* Monday – Thursday, 07:45 – 16:15
* Fridays, 07:45 – 15:15
* 39 hours per week
* Overtime paid at time and a half
* 20 days holiday
