How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Family Coordinator

    Spencer Clarke Group are currently supporting a client in the Beverley area who are looking for a dedicated Family Coordinator to join their team on a temporary basis.

    This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in family support, social care or a similar role who is passionate about making a positive difference to individuals and families.

    Key Responsibilities

    Act as a key point of contact for families, providing guidance and support throughout their journey.

    Coordinate communication between families, professionals and relevant services.

    Support the development, review and updating of care and support plans.

    Monitor progress and communicate any changes, concerns or updates to the relevant teams.

    Identify challenges and help families access appropriate support and solutions.

    Build positive and professional relationships with individuals, families and partner agencies.

    Key Requirements

    Previous experience within family support, social care or a similar community-based role.

    Excellent communication and organisational skills.

    Ability to build positive relationships while maintaining professional boundaries.

    A caring, patient and proactive approach.

    Confidence working independently and as part of a wider professional team.
