Position: Quality Inspector
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 Depending on experience

Our client is a well-established manufacturer based in Milton Keynes, supplying precision engineering & metal fabricated parts to a range of including Automotive, Rail & Energy sectors. Due to ongoing success they are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team.

Quality Inspector Position Overview

Carry out quality assessment measurements of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials, including metrological and visual assessment.
Operate the CMM, experience with Aberlink software ideal, but experience with PC-DMIS is an advantage.
Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and drawings to understand the product requirements
Reject all the incoming raw materials which fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue promptly.
Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
Assist the QM in designing an efficient quality system and protocols which can be used across all company needs
Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
Assist the Head of Quality with KPI data and monitor customer satisfaction levels
Monitor the production phases at various levels

Quality Inspector Position Requirements

Proven background within a Quality Inspection / Assurance role
Excellent documentation and presentation skills
Previous CMM operating experience is a distinct advantage
Based in a commutable distance of Milton Keynes
A knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP / MRP systems
Strong organisational skills

Quality Inspector Position Remuneration

Salary £34,000 - £36,000 depending on experience
Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 17:00. Friday 08:00 - 14:00.
