How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Working closely with the Group Fleet Manager and operational teams, you will play a key role in supporting fleet activities across the business. Previous fleet experience is welcome but not essential, making this a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong coordination, administration, and project support skills who is looking to develop their career in a fleet environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Supporting the day-to-day administration of the fleet function.
    Managing fleet inboxes and coordinating high volumes of email communications.
    Assisting with vehicle replacement programmes, including arranging the collection of outgoing vehicles and delivery of new fleet stock.
    Supporting vehicle allocation projects across operational and business teams.
    Assisting with fuel card management and administration.
    Maintaining accurate fleet data and supporting data integration projects.
    Coordinating project activities, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
    Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and operational teams.
    Providing administrative and project support to the Group Fleet Manager.

    Profile

    About You

    We're looking for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of their workload.

    You'll ideally have:

    Strong administrative and coordination skills.
    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    Good attention to detail and data management capability.
    The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
    A proactive approach with the confidence to use your own initiative.
    Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Outlook.
    Previous fleet experience is desirable but not essential.
