How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Make a meaningful difference in a specialist learning environment.

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Qualified SEND Teacher to join our Additional Resource Provision (ARP) from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to teach small groups of pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), providing tailored learning experiences that enable every child to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The ARP supports children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, with class sizes of approximately 8–10 pupils, allowing you to build strong relationships and deliver truly personalised teaching.

    The Role

As our SEND Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with a range of additional needs, including:

    Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
    ADHD
    Communication and interaction needs
You will create a calm, structured and nurturing classroom where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn. Working closely with support staff, therapists and families, you will help pupils develop academically while building confidence, independence and essential life skills.

The role includes supporting pupils with personal care, so applicants must be comfortable and willing to undertake this as part of their responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (essential).
Has experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
Is passionate about inclusive education and achieving the best outcomes for every child.
Can deliver creative, engaging and highly differentiated lessons.
Has a patient, caring and nurturing approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
Is adaptable, resilient and able to respond to the varying needs of children.
Enjoys creating hands-on, interactive learning opportunities that promote engagement and independence.

    Desirable Experience & Skills

Experience with the following would be highly advantageous:

    Makaton
    PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System)
Sensory integration or sensory-based learning approaches
Supporting children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
Experience within an ARP, specialist provision or SEN setting

    What We Offer

Small class sizes of 8–10 pupils.
A well-resourced specialist provision with a strong focus on sensory learning.
A collaborative and supportive leadership team.
The opportunity to secure a permanent position following the initial temporary contract.
Competitive salary on the MPS–UPS scale, plus SEN Allowance.
Flexible working arrangements, with a minimum commitment of three days per week and full-time opportunities available.
If you are an enthusiastic SEND Teacher who is committed to providing outstanding, child-centred education and wants to make a lasting impact in a supportive specialist setting, we would love to hear from you
