About the Role
TeacherActive is currently recruiting Primary School Teachers for flexible supply positions across Leicester and neighbouring areas. Opportunities include day-to-day cover, short-term assignments, and longer-term placements in multiple primary schools.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging lessons across the Primary Curriculum
Follow lesson plans and adapt activities as required
Maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils with diverse abilities and learning needs
Assess pupils’ understanding and provide constructive feedback
Adhere to each school’s safeguarding and behaviour policies
Collaborate effectively with teachers, teaching assistants, and school leaders
Ensure a consistent and positive learning experience for all pupils
Person Specification
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school
Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum
Effective classroom and behaviour management skills
Flexible, reliable, and professional approach to work
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

£170.00 - £220.00 per day
