How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy in Leeds is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio of projects throughout Yorkshire, gaining exposure to different sectors and working closely with experienced professionals. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take on greater responsibility while continuing to develop within a respected consultancy environment.

The Project Manager will support projects from initial feasibility and design through procurement, construction and handover. Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors, the Project Manager will help coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor programmes and manage project risks. This position would suit an ambitious Project Manager with existing consultancy experience who is comfortable in a client-facing role and wants to build a broad portfolio of project experience.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

    The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will be responsible for supporting and managing projects through multiple RIBA stages, ensuring client objectives are clearly understood and successfully delivered.

Responsibilities will include preparing and monitoring project programmes, coordinating consultant teams, attending and chairing meetings, managing risk registers, supporting procurement strategies and producing clear client reports.

The Project Manager will also monitor construction progress, manage change control and maintain effective communication between clients, contractors and wider project teams.

    The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will ideally have:

Previous Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Experience delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
MRICS, MAPM or MCIOB qualification, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification
Good knowledge of construction processes, procurement routes and contracts
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
    Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultant teams
    Excellent organisation and communication skills
A proactive and commercially aware approach

    In Return?

    £45,000-£55,000
    Pension and wider company benefits
    Professional membership support
Support towards chartership and continued professional development
    Clear opportunities for career progression
    Varied project exposure across Yorkshire
    Supportive and established Leeds-based team
