We’re looking for a talented and energetic test engineer to join one of Europe’s fastest growing engineering start-ups at the forefront of defence innovation in the UK. You’ll support planning and execution of environmental testing and qualification programmes in what is very much a hands-on focussed role.
Supporting the development of testing methods with cross-functional teams, you’ll drive and justify test severities from operational and lifecycle environments. You’ll get the chance to plan and execute test campaigns both in-house and externally, as well as supporting the design and build of test rigs.
What are we looking for?
Good understanding of engineering principles and interest in environmental testing
Experience running/supporting structured engineering tests (work or studies)
Can work in a fast-paced environment, produce clear documentation and practical, hands on approach to engineeringNice to have:
Experience working within a R&D/startup environment
Exposure to defence/aerospace industry (DEF STAN 00-035, MIL-STD-810 or STANAGs)
