This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous CNC machine operating experience who is looking to develop their skills within a busy engineering environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, producing components to engineering drawings and maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading components into CNC machines
* Following engineering drawings and work instructions
* Checking components meet required specifications
* Carrying out basic machine adjustments where required
* Changing tools and assisting with tool changes
* Using measuring equipment including verniers and micrometers
* Completing quality checks throughout production
* Inspecting finished components using appropriate measuring equipment
The ideal candidate will have:
* Previous experience operating CNC machinery
* Experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
* Ability to read and understand basic engineering drawings
* Good attention to detail
* Experience using basic inspection equipment
* Good work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to learn and develop new skills

* Monday to Friday
* Day shift
* Full-time hours
* Overtime available
