How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

DIGITAL DESIGNER – GLOBAL TECHNOLOGY-LED BUSINESS

This is an opportunity for a Digital Designer to join a globally operating creative team with a strong focus on performance marketing and paid media. This is not a traditional web or UI design role - you’ll be creating digital-first creative designed to attract attention, drive engagement and ultimately convert across paid channels.

From display advertising and paid social through to landing pages and email, you’ll work closely with performance marketers to create digital experiences where design and commercial results go hand in hand.

    What they need

    • Someone with genuine paid-media design experience, who understands the creative journey from ad impression through to landing page and conversion. You’ll be designing across display advertising, paid social, search-led campaigns and supporting landing pages, so you need to understand how each asset contributes to the wider performance funnel
    • A digital designer who understands what makes creative perform, rather than simply producing visually polished work. You’ll need a strong instinct for hierarchy, messaging, calls to action and user behaviour, with the ability to create landing pages that capture attention quickly and make the next action obvious
    • Someone who can work across the full paid-media ecosystem, from Google and display advertising through to LinkedIn, YouTube and social channels. You don't need to be a performance marketer, but you should understand the different demands of each channel and how creative needs to adapt to the placement, audience and objective
    • Someone comfortable working within established digital systems and templates, able to take an existing structure and either recreate it accurately or develop something fresh within its parameters. Experience with platforms such as Marketo and PathFactory is highly desirable, but the underlying ability to understand modular digital systems is just as important
    • Someone highly responsive and adaptable, who can manage multiple requests, fast turnaround times and ongoing stakeholder feedback without losing attention to detail. You’ll be working closely with performance marketing, social, project management and creative teams, so being engaged, communicative and collaborative is essential

    What you're great at

    • Adobe Creative Suite, with strong digital design capability across Photoshop, Illustrator and related tools. Your portfolio should demonstrate digital-first work rather than being primarily focused on websites, UX or UI
    • Paid advertising creative, including display banners, Google Ads, paid social, GIFs and animated graphics, with experience producing complete suites of formats and sizes rather than one-off assets
    • Landing page design and digital experiences, with a strong understanding of responsive design, layout, hierarchy, CTA placement and user journeys, particularly how to capture and retain attention within the first few seconds of someone arriving from a paid campaign
    • Digital platforms and templating systems, alongside an understanding of modular content structures and how to adapt creative within established templates. HTML5 banner experience is a strong nice-to-have
    • AI-supported creative workflows, with genuine enthusiasm for experimentation and particularly strong prompting ability. You’ll be expected to explore how AI can accelerate versioning, adaptation and production without compromising creative judgement

    What you'll get

    • Manchester-based, with a hybrid working model expected to be around 2–3 days in the office, with the wider creative team distributed internationally
    • A genuine performance-design remit, where your work is directly connected to paid campaigns and commercial outcomes rather than existing purely for brand expression
