School Sports Coach required to join a supportive secondary school where you can use your sporting knowledge, coaching ability and experience working with young people to make a direct contribution to school life.
The school is an 11-18 secondary setting with a strong focus on supporting students academically and personally. Staff work collaboratively and the school values positive relationships, participation and giving students opportunities beyond the classroom.

This is particularly suited to someone who enjoys working directly with young people and wants a school-based role without the requirement for QTS.
You will be involved in:
Supporting and delivering PE and sports activities.
Coaching students across different age groups and abilities.
Encouraging participation in sport and physical activity.
Supporting extracurricular clubs, fixtures and school sporting events.
Helping maintain positive behaviour and engagement during activities.
Working alongside teaching staff to provide an effective experience for students.
What we are looking for
Experience working with children or young people is essential.
Previous experience delivering PE or sports in a school environment is strongly preferred.
Coaching qualifications are advantageous.
Strong knowledge of sport and practical activities.
Good communication and behaviour-management skills.
Reliable, professional and confident working with secondary-age students.
QTS is not required.
Those with previous PE teaching experience in schools will be prioritised for consideration.
