How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Location: Camberley, Surrey
    Salary: £14-£20 per hour (depending on experience)
    Hours: 08.00 - 17.00
    Contract: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week - overtime available)

    Wilabb Ltd is looking for an experienced Welder / Fabricator to join our skilled and established engineering team in Camberley.

    This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in producing accurate, high-quality work. You will be responsible for TIG and MIG welding and
    fabricating a varied range of components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications to produce work to a high standard.

    Key responsibilities

    * Carrying out high-quality TIG and MIG welding working with stainless, mild steel and aluminium.
    * Fabricating components accurately to engineering specifications.
    * Reading, interpreting and working confidently from engineering drawings
    * Measuring, marking, cutting and preparing materials
    * Assembling fabricated components and structures
    * Ensuring completed work meets the required quality standards and tolerances
    * Inspecting finished components and identifying any defects or inaccuracies
    * Working safely and maintaining a clean and organised workspace
    * Collaborating with the Directors and wider production team to meet customer requirements and deadlines.

    Skills and experience required

    The successful candidate will have:

    * Previous experience working as a Welder/Fabricator
    * Strong TIG and MIG welding skills
    * The ability to confidently read and interpret engineering drawings
    * Good fabrication, measuring and assembly skills
    * Excellent attention to detail
    * A commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work
    * A practical, methodical and safety-conscious approach
    * The ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team
    * A reliable and positive attitude

    Experience gained within a precision engineering, sheet-metal, manufacturing or similar environment would be advantageous.
