How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

The standard working hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, however flexibility is essential as some client requirements may require early starts. You will also participate in an out-of-hours and weekend on-call rota to support our clients and workforce when needed.

    Key Responsibilities

Support recruitment activities by sourcing and coordinating suitable candidates.
Conduct candidate registrations and onboarding processes.
Deliver worker inductions and site briefings.
Complete compliance checks, right-to-work verification, and employment documentation.
Maintain accurate records using Stafforce's internal systems and databases.
Update and manage workforce data using Microsoft Excel and other software packages.
Build strong relationships with candidates, workers, clients, and colleagues.
Monitor worker attendance and assist with shift coordination.
Support workforce planning and fulfil client staffing requirements.
Resolve worker queries and provide ongoing support throughout assignments.
Ensure all processes are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
Participate in the out-of-hours and weekend on-call rota.
Travel between client sites and offices as required.

    What We're Looking For

    Essential Skills & Experience

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    Strong IT and administrative skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Confident using databases, software systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
A flexible and positive approach to work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Desirable Skills & Experience

Previous experience in recruitment, account coordination, administration, customer service, or a similar role.
Experience working with temporary workers or high-volume staffing environments.
Full UK driving licence due to travel requirements across multiple client locations in the Hull area.

    What You'll Receive

In return, Stafforce offers a supportive environment where you can develop your career and make a real difference to both candidates and clients.

    Benefits Include:

Competitive salary of £27,700 per annum.
Full training and ongoing development opportunities.
Career progression within a well-established and growing business.
24/7 GP access through our employee wellbeing programme.
