How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    AV Technical Specialist - Audio

    London

    Circa £45,000


    Are you a specialist in all things AUDIO and have experience in operating and planning for live corporate events such as conferences, awards and galas? READ ON!


    The Company

With a global reach and an impressive list of corporate brands and venue partnerships this is one of the leading players when it comes to corporate live events.


    The Role


    As a senior Audio Technician / Technical Specialist you will be involved in supporting the project managers in the planning and scoping of technical equipment and audio set up for corporate events. You will allocated freelance and internal resource as well as kit and contribute to technical floor plans and layouts using Vectorworks. This is a client facing role where you will also lead the technical operation and delivery of audio on-site at events.


    About you


    You will be confident in designing and operating audio elements for a range of events and be able to use the following equipment: We are seeking an advanced user of Yamaha, DiGiCo and Allen and Heath mixing consoles for large scale corporate events as well as being able to build and tune PA Systems including D&B, L-Acoustics, Martin Audio. You can coordinate, use and monitor Shure and Sennheiser RF mic and IEM systems as well programming comms systems. Excellent role for career development, training and working with a talented team!
