How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

Gift & Go is an award-winning SaaS gifting technology platform which enhances the way that companies reward and reinforce customer loyalty. The platform enables companies to build, manage and publish powerful marketing and rewards campaigns, leveraging its access to product, logistical superiority and global footprint of leading retailers such as Amazon Business. We enable businesses to acquire and retain customers via global gifting technology.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations Assistant to join our growing team. This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our day-to-day operations, with a particular focus on order fulfilment, supplier coordination, promotional campaigns, and operational processes.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Department and play an important role in supporting the wider Operations function during a period of continued expansion. Previous experience in a start-up environment, particularly within SaaS, e-commerce, online marketing, or fintech, is highly desirable.

We’re looking for a proactive self-starter with exceptional attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to manage a high volume of tasks efficiently. The successful candidate will be highly organised, and comfortable taking ownership of issues from identification through to resolution.

The ideal candidate will be someone who confidently follows established processes and policies, while also bringing creative thinking and intuitive, out-of-the-box solutions when appropriate. The ability to identify potential operational issues before they become problems, work under pressure, and manage competing priorities is essential.

While relevant experience is important, we are ultimately seeking someone who will be a great fit for our high-performing, collaborative team - someone who is proactive, dependable, solutions-focused, and takes genuine ownership of their responsibilities. Full training will be provided.

    Key Details

    • Full-time role (5 working days per week), with a minimum of 3 weekdays in the office
    • Weekend work from home may be required
    • Working hours may vary
    • Immediate start or short notice period preferred

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Oversee order fulfilment, ensuring orders are processed and shipped within stipulated ETAs, and proactively resolve any delays or bottlenecks
    • Fix and re-process orders that are stuck, delayed, or have failed
    • Liaise with suppliers and clients to arrange refunds, replacements, credits, and other order resolutions
    • Assist the Head of Department with the creation, launch, and day-to-day management of promotional campaigns
    • Monitor live promotional activity, including orders, timings, performance, and operational issues
    • Support operational reporting, projects, process improvements, and other tasks as required
    • Work collaboratively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth operational delivery
    • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce bottlenecks, and increase efficiency

    Experience & Skills

    • 1+ year of proven experience in an operations, e-commerce, fulfilment, or similar role
    • Experience working within a SaaS, Fintech, Online Marketing, E-commerce, or technology environment is highly desirable
    • Prior experience within a customer loyalty, rewards, benefits, gifting, or e-commerce business is advantageous
    • Experience working in a fast-paced technology start-up environment is a strong advantage
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Comfortable working with technology, online platforms, and operational systems
    • Exposure to the gaming or gifting industry is a plus

    The Ideal Candidate

    • Proactive and self-starting, with the confidence to take ownership and use initiative
    • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
    • Solutions-focused, with the ability to investigate issues and find practical resolutions
    • Commercially aware, with an understanding of fulfilment, campaign performance, and operational efficiency
    • Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to respond quickly when priorities change
    • Reliable and accountable, taking responsibility for tasks and seeing them through to completion
    • A strong communicator, comfortable liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and clients
    • Process-driven but creative, able to follow established processes while thinking differently when required
    • A team player, who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

    What We Offer

    • Competitive salary
    • Opportunities for professional growth within a rapidly expanding company
    • A collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment
    • Full-time position (5 working days per week)
    • Paid holidays and vacation time
    • Additional day off for your birthday
