How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

We're working with a leading professional services firm that is looking to appoint a Learning Adviser on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established learning and development team and take ownership of several development programmes across both fee-earning and business services populations. The role would suit someone who enjoys managing projects, designing engaging learning content and building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business.

    The role

You'll be involved in the full learning cycle, from identifying development needs through to programme design, delivery and evaluation.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Managing and developing learning programmes for junior and mid-level professionals
    • Leading learning projects and development initiatives from planning through to delivery
    • Designing and facilitating workshops, webinars and other learning interventions
    • Creating learning content across a range of formats, including digital learning resources
    • Working with business stakeholders to understand capability gaps and learning needs
    • Partnering with external providers to deliver high-quality learning solutions
    • Supporting the introduction of new approaches, technologies and AI-driven learning tools
    • Providing guidance on individual development opportunities
    • Monitoring budgets, forecasting spend and supporting reporting processes
    • Contributing to wider HR and people-related projects

    About you

We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience within learning and development, talent development or professional skills training.

    You'll bring:

    • Experience managing learning programmes or development initiatives
    • Strong project management and organisational skills
    • Experience designing and delivering training
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
    • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
    • Experience working with learning systems or databases would be beneficial

Professional services experience would be advantageous, although applications from other corporate environments are also welcomed.

    Why apply?

This is a chance to join a collaborative and highly regarded people team where learning and development is genuinely valued. You'll have exposure to a broad range of stakeholders, the opportunity to contribute to innovative projects and the chance to make a visible impact across the business.

    Equal Opportunities

As a responsible business, it is important that we represent the diversity of our people, our clients and our communities. We believe that organisations that encourage a variety of perspectives and experiences are stronger, more successful and better equipped to support their people and clients.

We welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, disability, gender identity, marriage and civil partnership status, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation. Reasonable adjustments are available throughout the recruitment process.
