How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Role Description

    This is a full-time, on-site role located in London. As an Art Advisor at EDEN, House of Art, your responsibilities will include building and maintaining client relationships, providing expert guidance on fine art acquisitions, and assisting clients in curating personal collections. You will conduct research on contemporary artists, trends, and market values to inform client recommendations, while also collaborating with EDEN’s team to develop and promote exhibitions and events. Exceptional communication and knowledge of fine art will be integral to success in this role.


    Qualifications

    • Strong Communication and Writing skills to effectively engage with clients and create tailored art advisories
    • Expertise in Art and Fine Art, with a deep understanding of contemporary artists and artistic mediums
    • Experience in Research to stay informed on market trends, artist profiles, and industry developments
    • The ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced, creative environment
    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fine Art, Art History, or a relevant field is preferred
    • Previous experience in art advising, sales, or gallery management is an advantage
    • Passion for engaging with clients and fostering long-term relationships
