How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

You’ll need to be organised, confident communicating with different stakeholders and able to manage multiple live claims while maintaining a high level of customer service.

    The Role

As a Vehicle Repair Claims Handler, you will take responsibility for claims from the initial notification through to completion.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    *

Managing motor claims from initial notification through to vehicle repair and completion.

    *

Arranging vehicle recovery, roadside assistance and replacement/hire vehicles where required.

    *

Liaising with customers, bodyshops, repairers, insurers, engineers and other third parties.

    *

Providing clear and accurate updates throughout the repair and claims process.

    *

Monitoring repair progress and proactively addressing potential delays.

    *

Managing customer and client queries professionally and efficiently.

    *

Handling escalations and resolving problems with a practical, solution-focused approach.

    *

Ensuring claim records and systems remain accurate and up to date.

    *

Managing a busy caseload while prioritising urgent or time-sensitive cases.

    What We're Looking For

Previous experience within one or more of the following is essential:

    *

    Motor claims

    *

    Accident management

    *

    Vehicle repair claims

    *

    Motor assistance

    *

    Insurance claims involving vehicle repairs

    You should also have:

    *

A good understanding of the motor claims and vehicle repair process from FNOL through to completion.

    *

    Strong attention to detail.

    *

The ability to manage multiple claims and priorities in a busy environment.

    *

Excellent telephone and written communication skills.

    *

    Strong customer service skills.

    *

Confidence dealing with repairers, insurers, engineers and customers.

    *

A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.

    *

The ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with delays, complaints or escalations.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced motor claims professional who enjoys taking ownership of cases, solving problems and ensuring customers receive a smooth service throughout the vehicle repair process.
