How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Morson Edge are currently recruiting for a Planning & training Support Administrator to be based out of RNAS Yeovilton on a permanent basis.

    JOB PURPOSE

    in this role you will support the Delivery of Training and business-related activities at the Wildcat Training Centre (WTC); in particular the preparation, programming and coordination of all aspects of AW Wildcat Helicopter Courses with the Army, Royal Navy and other agencies.

    MAIN ACTIVITIES AND TASKS

    Main Duties:

    To fully assist the Course Planning & Training Coordinator, including the running of the Flight Planning Room.

    To conduct training support administration tasks at any time within the WTC opening times, and rostered shift pattern.

    To deputise for the Course Planning & Training Coordinator during their absence, completing all tasks with the JRD for that role.

    To support the preparation of all Course Training Schedules and all related supporting documentation, including completing student administration of the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) for all Wildcat courses, as tasked by Line Management.

    Assist with the population and maintenance of all schedules, including displayed programmes, within TMIS and all other areas of coordination and information.

    Assist with archiving training data and maintenance of the library of past events.

    To liaise with the CI/LAI/LGI for student assessment schedules.

    To receive training and Continued Personal Development (CPD) as required by Line Management.

    Reporting:

    To assist with pre and post course documentation and reporting, including the production of periodic reports for courses.

    To be a LCMS operator, recording training events as required, initiating and recording faults and provide assistance to Engineering with fault diagnosis as required.

    To assist with the organisation & running of the courseware library; to include the recording of holdings of that which is in use or has been archived, including any that has been returned.

    Training Service:

    Order student courseware, as required and agreed by contract. To maintain a library of courseware and distribute to classrooms/instructors in readiness for courses.

    Acting as a ‘supporting trainer’ for all Course Planners, AW & Military, to enable effective and efficient use of all planning and coordination tools, including LCMS administration activities.

    Conduct husbandry of instructional equipment and classroom posters in all training accommodation.

    To undertake secondary duties as required by line management, including, but not limited to, visits.

    Fully contribute to the Training Service reporting requirements.

    To assist with the invigilation of formative & summative exams.

    Reception/Administration:

    To provide cover on reception when tasked by the TSDM.

    To assist the Senior Administrator with administrative tasks, particularly those aligned to course admin when tasked by the TSDM.

    KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

    A sound understanding of a customer training environment, including working to contract delivery and schedule requirements, processes and procedures.

    Experience of working within a training service and knowledge of the processes and procedures required to enable such a service.

    An understanding of the complexities of delivering a Training Service against course training plans and of the management of multiple synthetic training devices.

    Driving License.

    Ability to communicate effectively.

    Ability to work unsupervised, to demanding deadlines.

    Determination to assist in developing a groundbreaking Training Service of the highest quality and standards.

    Excellent interpersonal skills, with experience of dealing with a range of customers, inc Front Line Command representatives.

    Ability to seek out, implement and maintain, ‘Best Practice’ from all relevant AW training facilities.

    PC literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

    DIMENSIONS

    Planning and Training Administrators are to be prepared to attend courses for personal development and instruction in new equipment, away from site if necessary.

    The Planning and Training Support Administrators are responsible to the Planning and Training Support Co-Ordinators in regards to all day to day programme activities and scheduling of work

    The Planning and Training Support Administrators report to the CI who is the line manager and is responsible for Personal Development Reviews.
