Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, processing, and packaging of poultry products.
Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently within factory guidelines.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene throughout the production process.
Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet established safety and quality standards.
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
Monitor supplies and materials and communicate with leadership regarding replenishment.
Handle tasks efficiently in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Experience in a factory or food production environment, particularly with poultry, is preferred but not essential - full training will be provided.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions effectively.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on food safety, quality, and hygiene.
Must be physically fit and able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
A proactive attitude and willingness to work as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
Ability to adapt to shift work and flexible working hours when required.
Good communication skills and the ability to work cohesively with coworkers.

Shifts

AM Shift: Monday to Friday, 5.45am to 3pm.
PM Shift: Tuesday to Friday, 3pm to 11pm, and Saturday 9am start (compulsory).

Pay Rate

£12.71 per hour
Overtime available

Day-to-Day

Begin the shift with a team briefing to review daily production goals.
Work at assigned stations, ensuring processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Conduct regular cleaning tasks to maintain a hygienic and organized work environment.
Report any issues with equipment or materials to the supervisor.
Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting each other.
Uphold strict food safety standards to ensure all products are safe for consumption.
Accurately record production data, as required by factory guidelines.
