The successful candidate will act as the key interface between the main contractor and the client’s various FM stakeholders, managing communication, coordinating actions and ensuring that building services and facilities-related requirements are effectively integrated into the construction programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as the primary day-to-day interface between the project team and the client’s Facilities Management teams.
* Coordinate technical, MEP and facilities-related issues across the live refurbishment works.
* Work closely with Site Managers to identify, communicate and resolve issues affecting ongoing operations.
* Manage actions between subcontractors, the construction team and client/FM stakeholders through to resolution.
* Coordinate access, isolations, shutdowns, commissioning and other activities impacting existing building services.
* Ensure client operational requirements are understood and incorporated into the works.
* Attend and lead relevant coordination meetings, maintaining clear records and tracking actions.
* Support commissioning, handover, snagging and close-out activities as the project progresses.
Candidate Profile:
* Previous experience as a Technical Services Manager, Building Services Manager, M&E Manager or similar within a main contracting environment.
* Strong knowledge of MEP/building services within refurbishment or live operational environments.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to work directly with client FM teams.
* Strong coordination and problem-solving ability, with a practical, delivery-focused approach.
* Government, public-sector, secure-environment or complex refurbishment experience would be advantageous.
* Available at short notice and able to commit through to the end of the year

£300.00 - £330.00 per year
