How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    A fantastic opportunity for a Head of Marketing has arisen to join a leading luxury marine organisation with a truly global footprint. You'll be embedded within a specialist domain of commercial, brand and customer professionals across the UK, Europe and the United States, supporting high-value products and experiences across sales, service, refit and aftersales.

    This role focuses on delivering high-quality global marketing strategy and execution, driving brand awareness, customer engagement and commercial growth. Reporting into the CEO, you will own brand positioning and lead integrated campaigns across digital, PR, social, content, events, partnerships and international boat shows - ensuring a consistent, premium customer experience at every touchpoint.

    Key responsibilities of the Head of Marketing role and not be limited to:

    Develop and implement a comprehensive global marketing strategy to strengthen brand positioning, support sales and increase market share.
    Partner with senior leadership to align marketing activity with business goals and revenue targets.
    Lead global marketing campaigns and new product launches, ensuring consistent and compelling messaging.
    Build targeted marketing initiatives to promote service and aftersales offerings and generate additional revenue streams.
    Lead market research to identify customer insights, opportunities and emerging trends.
    Safeguard and evolve brand identity across digital, PR, print, events and partnerships.
    Develop compelling content strategy across product, performance, design, adventure, owner stories and lifestyle.
    Own digital strategy - website performance, SEO, social media, paid media and CRM activity.
    Lead PR strategy and develop relationships across luxury, lifestyle and sector media.
    Oversee international boat shows, private views, owner events and lifestyle partnerships.
    Build partnerships with influencers, relevant media and aligned luxury brands.
    Lead, inspire and develop the marketing team, building a creative and results-driven culture.
    Work cross-functionally with Sales, Design and Aftersales to deliver a seamless customer journey and support commercial success.
    Manage external agencies and ensure exceptional creative and media delivery.
    Define and track KPIs, campaign ROI and overall marketing performance.
    Own the global marketing budget in line with business priorities and commercial objectives.Key skills and experience required for Head of Marketing and not limited to:

    Proven leadership experience within a senior marketing role - ideally within luxury, lifestyle, marine or similarly premium sectors.
    Strong brand storytelling capability, audience segmentation experience, and customer lifecycle understanding.
    Track record delivering successful multi-channel marketing campaigns.
    Experience positioning high-value products across international markets.
    Strong digital marketing, analytics and CRM capability - HubSpot (or similar) beneficial.
    Excellent communication and copywriting skills.
    Strong stakeholder management and project management skills, comfortable working with senior leadership.
    Commercially focused and able to demonstrate marketing ROI.
    Experienced people leader with a track record developing high-performing teams.
    Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and decision-making skills.
