This is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector with a strong background in precision engineering and hands-on inspection experience.
The Role
You will be responsible for inspecting precision-engineered components to ensure they meet required quality standards and customer specifications.
Key responsibilities include:
* Carrying out first-off, in-process and final inspections
* Using CMM equipment, ideally Aberlink
* Measuring components using micrometers, verniers and gauges
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
* Recording inspection results and maintaining quality documentation
* Identifying non-conforming parts and supporting corrective actions
* Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain high quality standards
The Ideal Candidate
The successful candidate will have:
* Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within precision engineering
* Good knowledge of CMM inspection
* Experience using Aberlink would be highly advantageous
* Strong knowledge of micrometers, verniers and gauges
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Excellent attention to detail
* Experience working within a CNC/machining or precision engineering environment
