How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

A leading main contractor is currently looking to hire an experienced Site Manager - Internals to join a major residential development in Dunstable.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in new-build residential internals, taking responsibility for a defined section of approximately 30-40 apartments through to completion.

You will be responsible for managing the internal construction process, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.

    The Role

Manage the internal fit-out of approximately 30-35 residential units
Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across all internal packages
Drive programme and ensure works are delivered to agreed dates
Monitor workmanship, quality and finishing standards
Coordinate drylining, partitions, ceilings, MEP interfaces and associated internal trades
Carry out regular inspections and ensure defects are identified and closed out
Maintain accurate site records and communicate progress to the wider project team
Liaise closely with commercial, design and construction teams
Ensure all works are undertaken in accordance with health & safety requirements
Manage the handover and completion of apartments to the required standard

    About You

    The successful candidate will have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager on residential or apartment developments
Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and finishing
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple internal trades
A strong understanding of construction sequencing and programme management
Good eye for detail and a commitment to quality
    Excellent communication and organisational skills
Relevant construction qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
Experience delivering new-build apartments would be highly advantageous

    The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to join a high-profile, large-scale residential development and take ownership of a clearly defined internal package.

The role would suit an experienced Site Manager who is confident managing apartment interiors from first fix through to completion and handover, while working as part of a larger site team
