How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

At Transform Your Training, we believe in the transformative power of learning. Through our award-winning Training 4 Influence methodology, we work with charities, public services and organisations across the UK to create engaging, values-led learning experiences that help people turn learning into action.
We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Lead to help tell that story.
You'll play a key role in shaping how Transform Your Training is seen, understood and experienced by learners, facilitators, partners, commissioners and stakeholders. From leading our brand and communications strategy to supporting major programmes, projects and organisational priorities, you'll help ensure the right people hear about our work, engage with our services and understand the impact they create.
Working closely with senior leaders, project teams and external partners, you'll combine strategic thinking, creativity and relationship-building to strengthen our profile, grow our reach and support the continued development of a thriving, ambitious organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys influencing strategy, leading others and using marketing and communications to create meaningful impact.
    You will:
    * Develop and lead an organisation-wide marketing and communications strategy that supports organisational priorities and growth.
    * Create marketing approaches that strengthen engagement, increase visibility and expand our reach.
    * Provide strategic marketing advice and guidance to senior leaders, project teams and colleagues.
    * Lead and develop the Transform Your Training brand, ensuring consistency of messaging, tone of voice and visual identity.
    * Oversee communications activity across the organisation, helping ensure messages are clear, engaging and aligned with our values.
    * Build strong relationships with project teams, partners, funders, commissioners and stakeholders.
    * Develop marketing and communications approaches that support project delivery, participant engagement and organisational objectives.
    * Lead the planning and delivery of campaigns across projects, programmes, services and events.
    * Communicate impact, learning, outcomes and success stories to a wide range of audiences.
    * Monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness and use insight to continuously improve marketing activity.
    * Lead and support a small marketing team, creating clear priorities, effective systems and opportunities for development.
    * Manage relationships with external suppliers, agencies and specialist partners.
    We're looking for someone who:
    * Has experience developing and implementing marketing and communications strategies.
    * Has led marketing activity across multiple projects, programmes, services or organisational priorities.
    * Is confident building relationships and working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders.
    * Has experience creating engagement and communications approaches for different audiences.
    * Understands how to use data, audience insight and evidence to inform decision-making and improve performance.
    * Is an excellent communicator, able to develop compelling messages and adapt them for different audiences and channels.
    * Has experience leading, supporting or developing others within a marketing environment.
    * Is highly organised and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    * Combines strategic thinking with practical action and delivery.
    * Is creative, innovative and solutions-focused.
    * Is passionate about making a positive difference through learning and development.
    * Shares our commitment to integrity, excellence, fairness, collaboration and innovation.
Experience within education, training, careers, employability, charitable or social impact organisations would be welcomed, but we recognise that great candidates can come from a variety of sectors.
    We offer:
➜A warm, supportive team where your voice matters.
➜The opportunity to shape and develop the marketing function within a growing organisation.
➜A varied and rewarding role with opportunities to influence strategic direction.
➜Flexible, hybrid working built on trust and outcomes.
➜Access to Transform Your Training programmes and additional professional development opportunities.
