How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Graduate / Trainee Project Manager

    Tewkesbury
    £26,000 – £28,000 per annum

    We are recruiting for a Graduate / Trainee Project Manager to join an established specialist construction subcontractor based in Tewkesbury.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to begin a career in construction project management. No previous project management experience is required, as full training and support will be provided.

    You will work alongside experienced Project Managers and Contracts Managers, gradually taking on more responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develop.

    The Role

    Your duties will include:

    * Assisting with the planning and delivery of construction projects

    * Supporting Project Managers with day-to-day project coordination

    * Liaising with clients, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers

    * Helping to organise labour, materials and deliveries

    * Monitoring project programmes and key deadlines

    * Attending site meetings and project progress meetings

    * Assisting with project documentation, reports and records

    * Helping to resolve day-to-day issues on live projects

    * Monitoring health & safety requirements and site procedures

    * Supporting the commercial and estimating teams where required

    * Visiting sites to monitor progress and ensure works are being completed correctly

    * Learning how projects are managed from initial order through to completion and handover

    The Candidate

    We are looking for an ambitious graduate who wants to develop a long-term career within construction.

    A degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying or a related construction discipline would be ideal, although other relevant degrees will also be considered.

    You should be organised, confident communicating with different people and keen to learn.

    A driving licence would be advantageous due to the requirement to visit project sites.

    £26,000 – £28,000 per annum

    Location: Tewkesbury

    Full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to join a specialist contractor and develop into a fully qualified Project Manager
