We are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join a busy and supportive finance team in Taunton.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily client and office account transactions
* Process payments, receipts, invoices and bank reconciliations
* Maintain accurate client and office ledgers
* Ensure compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
* Assist with month-end/year-end processes and VAT returns
* Liaise with fee earners, clients, auditors and banking providers
* Monitor accounts and report any discrepancies or breaches
Requirements:
* Previous Legal Cashier experience within a law firm – essential
* Strong knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Familiarity with legal accounting software
* Strong communication and organisational skills
