How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job Title: Project Manager / Business Analyst - Major Programme Delivery

    About the Role

    Our Major Programme Delivery function is responsible for ensuring major projects and transformation initiatives are delivered to a high standard, aligned to strategic objectives and governed through consistent programme delivery standards. The team provides specialist delivery expertise across a diverse portfolio, supporting critical programmes and initiatives through the flexible deployment of skilled professionals.

    The Project Manager / Business Analyst combines project delivery leadership with business analysis expertise. The role is responsible for leading projects from initiation through to implementation, while ensuring business needs are clearly understood, documented, validated and translated into effective solutions that deliver measurable benefits.

    The successful candidate will work across a diverse portfolio of projects and transformation initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders at all levels to drive successful delivery and positive business outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    Lead projects from initiation through to implementation, managing scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and resources.
    Develop and maintain project plans, governance structures and reporting.
    Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
    Monitor project budgets, progress and performance, providing regular updates to stakeholders and governance forums.
    Build strong relationships with stakeholders and effectively manage expectations.
    Facilitate workshops, interviews and stakeholder sessions to gather, validate and prioritise requirements.
    Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.
    Produce high-quality business analysis documentation, including BRDs, user stories, epics, features, process maps, use cases and acceptance criteria.
    Analyse current and future-state processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
    Work closely with delivery and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood and solutions meet business needs.
    Support UAT, defect management, business readiness and implementation activities.
    Conduct impact assessments and support change implementation.
    Monitor project benefits and KPIs to ensure projects deliver their intended outcomes.
    Ensure projects comply with relevant governance, contractual, commercial and regulatory requirements.

    Key Skills

    Proven experience in project management and business analysis.
    Experience delivering complex projects within operationally critical or regulated environments.
    Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
    Strong project planning, governance, risk and dependency management skills.
    Excellent requirements gathering and business analysis capability.
    Experience producing requirements documentation, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria.
    Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work confidently at all levels.
    Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.
    Confident facilitating workshops and presenting information to senior stakeholders.
    A proactive approach to identifying improvements and challenging existing ways of working.
    Strong focus on delivery, quality, continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes.
