How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Logistics Coordinator - Hull

Are you the kind of person who loves solving practical problems before they become urgent ones? Do you enjoy bringing order to complex supply chains, coordinating people and paperwork, and making sure every delivery lands on time? If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We’re hiring a Logistics Coordinator based in Hull. In this role, you’ll be the link between planning and reality—managing day-to-day logistics activity, keeping freight and delivery processes running smoothly, and ensuring the right stock reaches the right place at the right time.

And because we’re a fast-growing business with ambitious goals, your work won’t feel repetitive or invisible. You’ll see the impact of your coordination, attention to detail, and calm communication—especially when schedules change and priorities shift.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring shipments are scheduled correctly and dispatched in line with agreed timelines.

    * Manage transport bookings, liaising with freight partners and carriers to confirm collections, delivery windows, and documentation requirements.

    * Monitor shipment progress, tracking orders and responding promptly to delays, discrepancies, or changes in ETA.

    * Maintain accurate logistics records, including shipping documentation, dispatch details, and relevant system updates.

    * Support inventory flow by aligning logistics activities with warehouse activity and ensuring stock movements are planned sensibly.

    * Prepare and check shipping documentation to minimise errors and ensure compliance with customer and carrier requirements.

    * Communicate clearly with internal teams (warehouse, operations, customer service, and procurement as needed) so everyone is aligned.

    * Support continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, suggesting process enhancements, and helping maintain service standards.

    What we’re looking for

    * Experience in logistics coordination, supply chain administration, freight coordination, or a similar transport/planning role.

    * A strong eye for detail—particularly around documentation, tracking, and time-critical updates.

    * Confidence managing multiple priorities, with the ability to remain organised and proactive under pressure.

    * Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate logistics information clearly for different stakeholders.

    * Strong IT skills, including experience using logistics or ERP systems (training on specific systems will be provided if required).

    * A practical, solution-focused approach—thinking ahead, spotting issues early, and taking ownership of resolutions.

Bonus points if you’ve worked with freight booking processes, understand shipping documentation workflows, or have experience coordinating shipments to/from international destinations.

Why this role is worth getting excited about

Because your work matters every day. From coordinating dispatches to tackling the “we’ve been delayed” message that arrives out of nowhere, you’ll be the person who keeps the programme moving—ensuring customers receive what they expect, when they expect it.

You’ll join a team that values pace and quality in equal measure. Being fast-growing also means you’ll have opportunities to improve how things are done, not just follow a static process. If you enjoy bringing structure, refining workflows, and making logistics smoother for the whole organisation, this role is designed for you.
