How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Graphic Designer - Hull

Are you the kind of designer who can make a concept land instantly—and still sweat the details that make it feel premium? If you love turning ideas into striking visuals that work across social, web, print and campaigns, we want to hear from you.

    Why this role?

You’ll join a fast-moving, brand-led business in Hull, helping shape the look and feel of a world-class brand that’s growing at pace. This is a design role where your work is seen—every day—by real people across multiple channels, and where creativity is backed by a clear commitment to quality.

At Vuba Surfaces, you’ll have the opportunity to design engaging content inspired by our personality and driven by results. From standout social assets to polished marketing collateral, you’ll help bring the brand to life with clarity, confidence and craft.

    What you’ll be doing

    * Create visually compelling graphic design for social media, digital campaigns, web assets and promotional materials.

    * Design brand-consistent artwork that feels fresh, premium and on-trend—without losing the essence of the Vuba style.

    * Translate campaign objectives into designs that capture attention quickly and communicate clearly.

    * Develop content that supports growth, including attention-grabbing creative for paid and organic channels.

    * Collaborate with marketing and creative colleagues to generate concepts, refine layouts and deliver final assets.

    * Prepare print-ready artwork and adapt designs for multiple formats, sizes and platforms.

    * Maintain high standards across production, including file organisation, version control and consistent output quality.

    What we’re looking for

    * A genuine portfolio (online or PDF) that shows range—social, digital and/or brand or campaign design.

    * Strong typography, layout and composition skills, with an eye for detail.

    * Confidence working with brand guidelines while still bringing your own creative flair.

    * Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or equivalents).

    * Ability to meet deadlines, juggle multiple requests and manage revisions professionally.

    * A collaborative mindset: you enjoy discussing ideas, responding to feedback and improving concepts.

    * Comfort learning new processes and adapting quickly in a busy, growth-focused environment.

What it feels like to work here

This is a role for a designer who wants to see their creativity make an impact. You’ll be working as part of a team that values momentum, quality and real-world application—design that doesn’t just look good, but performs, supports campaigns and helps tell a compelling story to customers.

We’re a brand with a vibrant community and a modern, confident presence across social media. That means your designs won’t sit in a folder—they’ll be used, shared, improved and built upon. If you enjoy crafting visuals that feel alive and engaging, you’ll fit right in.

    How you’ll stand out

    * You don’t just “make something”—you understand the purpose of the design and the audience it’s for.

    * You can turn a brief into multiple creative directions, then refine based on feedback.

    * You care about consistency, alignment and finishing touches—whether it’s a social graphic, a campaign layout or print artwork.

    * You communicate clearly and keep things moving.
