Remit:

* Candidates MUST HAVE demonstrable experience within injection moulding manufacturing with good mould setting and processing skills
* This opportunity will suit an Injection Moulding Technician who is looking to continue their development and further their career within the industry
Role:
* The successful candidate will carry out safe and efficient mould tool changes and machine set-ups.
* Optimise cycle times, quality and productivity while minimising downtime.
* Troubleshoot mould, machine and process issues effectively.
* Monitor production performance and identify process improvement opportunities.
* Ensure production meets customer quality standards and documentation requirements.
* Complete tool changes in line with production priorities.
* Work closely with Maintenance, Quality and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the production process.
* Lead and support the night shift team of six operators.
* Allocate staffing effectively to meet production requirements.
* Promote teamwork, communication, accountability and safe working practices.
* Monitor performance and support training, development and onboarding.
* Manage immediate operational, welfare and safety issues, escalating where appropriate.
* Report any HR, disciplinary, attendance or welfare concerns to the Production Manager.
* Support the onboarding and training of new employees when required.
Experience:
* Previous experience working as an Injection Moulding Setter or Technician
* Strong understanding of injection moulding processes, machine setting and fault-finding.
* Proven experience carrying out mould tool changes safely and efficiently.
* Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently, use initiative and make effective decisions during night shift operations
* Previous supervisory or team leader experience desired but not essential.
* Proactive, practical and hands-on approach to identifying and resolving problems.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems.
