Smile Education is currently recruiting for an English Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in Birmingham from September.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity with the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to join their supportive department and make a positive impact on student outcomes.
The Role
Teach English across Key Stages 3 and 4
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons
Support students to develop their literacy, analytical and communication skills
Monitor progress and provide effective feedback
Contribute positively to the wider English department
Build strong relationships with students and colleaguesThe Ideal Candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently completing teacher training
Experience teaching English within a secondary school
Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
Excellent classroom management skills
Passionate about raising achievement and inspiring young people
