How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    Job description

    Midweight Designer - London hybrid, Creative agency - £35k-£45k
    We are working with a creative agency in London that partners with a real mix of clients, from global brands through to SMEs, charities and not-for-profits. They are looking for a Midweight Designer who can bring together strong design craft, fresh creative thinking and hands-on delivery across brand, digital, motion and campaign work.

    This is a great role for a designer who enjoys variety. One day you could be creating social campaign assets or pitch deck designs, the next you could be working on brand identity, website visuals, motion graphics or more immersive digital experiences.

    The agency needs someone who is confident getting stuck into the day-to-day design work, but who also has the creative eye and ideas to contribute when bigger brand or concept-led projects come in.

    What you will be doing

    You will work across a broad mix of creative outputs, including:

    * Brand identity and visual design

    * Digital campaign assets

    * Social content and paid social creative

    * Pitch decks and presentation design

    * Website layouts, landing pages and digital experiences

    * Motion graphics and animated assets

    * Print, artwork and marketing collateral

    * Concept development and visual exploration

    * Creative rollouts across different channels and formats

    * Supporting ideas for interactive, immersive or AR-led experiences

    You will work closely with the creative team, wider agency team and clients, helping to turn briefs into work that feels polished, current and on brand.

    What they are looking for

    They are looking for a genuinely all-round designer with a strong portfolio and a good eye for contemporary design.

    You will need to be confident across:

    * Typography, layout and visual hierarchy

    * Brand and identity work

    * Digital design and website layouts

    * Motion graphics, ideally After Effects

    * Social-first campaign creative

    * Decks, presentations and marketing assets

    * Print and artwork production

    * Adobe Creative Suite

    * Figma

    Experience or interest in AR, immersive, interactive or experiential design would be a real bonus.

    The kind of person who will suit this role

    This would suit a junior to midweight or midweight designer who has already built up a strong portfolio, either through agency work, freelance projects or in-house creative roles.

    You might be someone who loves the craft of design, has a fresh and contemporary visual style and enjoys working across different formats. You will be happy doing the less glamorous but important delivery work, while also bringing ideas, taste and creative energy to bigger projects.

    This probably is not the right role for someone who wants to sit purely at Creative Lead or Art Director level. The team needs someone hands-on, adaptable and happy to move between concepts, campaigns, decks, web, motion and everyday design delivery.

    What would make you stand out

    * A portfolio with strong contemporary design work

    * Confident use of typography and layout

    * Examples of brand identity or visual systems

    * Website, landing page or UI examples

    * Motion or animated social work

    * Social campaign or paid media creative

    * Decks or presentation design

    * Any AR, immersive, interactive or experiential work

    * Agency or strong freelance experience

    Why this role?

    This is a good opportunity to join a creative agency where you will not be boxed into one narrow design lane. You will get to work across a varied client base and a wide range of creative outputs, from day-to-day campaign assets through to bigger brand, digital and immersive projects.

    If you are a designer who wants variety, creative input and the chance to keep developing across brand, digital, motion and experience-led work, this could be a really interesting next move.
