Our client is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Operations Lead to join their growing technology team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in strengthening and developing a modern security operations function within a highly regarded organisation.Working in a hybrid environment, you'll take responsibility for the implementation, optimisation and ongoing management of security technologies, helping to protect critical systems, infrastructure and data while driving continuous improvement across security operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain security technologies including SIEM, endpoint protection, identity security and vulnerability management tools.
* Configure, optimise and manage security platforms to ensure effective monitoring and protection.
* Develop and maintain log ingestion pipelines and security telemetry across infrastructure and applications.
* Integrate security tools across cloud and on-premise environments.
* Develop, tune and enhance detection rules to identify suspicious activity across networks, systems and user behaviour.
* Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats and anomalies.
* Establish and improve incident response, triage and remediation processes. [Cyber Ops Role | Word]
Skills & Experience Required
To be successful in this role, you will have experience within cyber security operations and a strong technical understanding of modern security tooling and threat detection principles.
Certifications
The following certifications are highly desirable:
* CompTIA Security+
* GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA)
* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) [Cyber Ops Role | Word]
