How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

    About This Role

    We are looking for a compassionate and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant to support a lively and energetic 5-year-old boy who lives at home with his loving family. He enjoys watching TV, playing, and staying active, so this role is ideal for someone who can match his enthusiasm, encourage his interests, and bring a fun, positive approach to his care.

    In this rewarding role, you will provide dedicated support both at school and at home, ensuring his personal and clinical care needs are met with compassion, professionalism, and respect.

    Clinical Experience

    Previous experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs is desirable.

    Where required, specialist clinical training will be provided by our highly skilled, in-house nursing team.

    Essential Requirements

    To be considered for this role, applicants must:

    * Have a minimum of 3 months' paid experience working in a professional care setting within the UK.

    * Have the right to work in the UK*

    * Be committed to delivering safe, compassionate and child-centred care.

    * Be willing to complete client-specific, clinical training where required.

    * Be comfortable working in a household with cats

    We do not hold a sponsorship licence and are therefore unable to consider applicants requiring sponsorship.
