Job Title: UAT Test Manager & Test Environments Release Lead

Daily Rate: £500 - £600
Working Pattern: Full Time

Our client, a prominent player in the Banking and Financial Services sector, is seeking a dynamic and experienced UAT Test Manager & Test Environments Release Lead. This dual role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth execution and governance of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across the Credit Risk & Management portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

UAT Management:

Lead the planning, coordination, and governance of UAT across multiple projects, applications, and releases.
Collaborate with Business Owners and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to define UAT scope, acceptance criteria, and participation requirements.
Ensure comprehensive traceability between business requirements and execution evidence.
Programme Test Environment Coordination:

Maintain an integrated view of test environments, applications, and interface requirements across all programme workstreams.
Track environment availability and readiness, ensuring all necessary resources are in place for testing phases.
Test Release & Deployment Coordination:

Work with Test Leads and Technical Delivery Managers to identify application releases required for testing.
Support release-readiness decisions by providing accurate environment and deployment status.
Governance & Reporting:

Participate in programme test governance and readiness reviews, ensuring compliance with quality gates and standards.
Provide timely and clear reporting to the Programme Test Manager and relevant stakeholders on UAT progress, risks, and completion status.
Required Knowledge & Experience:

Strong experience as a Test Manager, UAT Test Manager, or Senior Test Lead within the banking or financial services domain.
Proven track record in managing UAT across multiple projects and releases.
Deep understanding of end-to-end test management, including defect management and reporting.
Experience with Jira and Xray or similar test management tools.Key Skills:

Exceptional stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging with senior stakeholders up to C-suite level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and SQL.Desirable Experience:

Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience.
Familiarity with ITIL, Release Management, or Change Management.
