We are recruiting a reliable and organised Transport Clerks to join a busy and professional transport operation in Daventry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants regular, ongoing work with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
 PAY RATES
DAY SHIFTS

Standard: £14.78 per hour
Overtime: £22.17 per hourAFTERNOON SHIFTS

Standard: £15.52 per hour
Overtime: £23.28 per hourNIGHT SHIFTS

Standard: £16.26 per hour
Overtime: £24.39 per hour Overtime paid after 40 hours!
Some weekend work required

THE ROLE
As a Transport Clerk, you will play an important part in keeping the transport operation running smoothly.
Your responsibilities will include:

Driver pre-brief and debrief
Completing transport paperwork and administration
Updating transport systems accurately
Communicating with drivers and the wider transport team
Monitoring and maintaining accurate transport records
Supporting the smooth running of the transport office
General duties associated with a busy Transport Clerk positionWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience as a Transport Clerk or within transport/logistics
Strong communication and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confidence working in a busy transport environment
Good IT and administration skills
