Overview: Working exclusively alongside our client, an established high profile global manufacturer and supplier of injection moulding machinery and bespoke automation, to source a Field Service Engineer to support continued business growth in the UK.

Remit:

* Exceptional job opportunity working for a leading Injection moulding machine manufacturer

* Candidates must have extensive injection moulding machinery, process and maintenance experience

* This position will suit a skilled Injection Moulding Engineer with strong machine maintenance background and the relevant electrical qualifications

Role:

* To install and commission RPM, injection moulding machines and automation at customer sites, ensuring appropriate commissioning in line with the manufacturer’s guidelines.

* Provide on-site technical support to customers, troubleshooting issues with injection moulding machines and automation.

* To maintain accurate records of service activities, including service reports and equipment history, using our internal systems.

* The candidate must have strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, to repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults on injection moulding machines and automation.

* Be able to build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of technical issues to maximise customer satisfaction.

* Must possess a willingness to travel the UK to meet both customer and company requirements, including occasional weekend working.

* To comply with all company policies and procedures.

* Where appropriate, support the development of documentation and training within the service team. Support cross-training of personnel, ensuring skills & knowledge gained through formal training are applied consistently.

* Support all company safety and quality programs and initiatives.

Experience Requirements:

* National Certificate/NVQ 3 in a relevant engineering discipline.

* Time served apprenticeship.

* Proven experience working with injection moulding machinery and ancillary equipment

* Fault-finding and troubleshooting skills both electrical and mechanical

* Must have experience of installation and commissioning of injection moulding machinery

* Experience of Polyurethane processing equipment an advantage but not essential.

* Knowledge of Siemens PLCs and ABB robots would be beneficial, but not essential.

* Self-disciplined to manage own projects/jobs within the targeted time frame.
