Voids Multi Trader

Fortus Recruitment Group Limited are a recruitment company that specialise in placing people within the repairs and maintenance industry.

We are currently looking for a Multi Trader to work on void properties across the Oxford area, carrying out a range of repairs and maintenance works to bring properties back up to a high standard ready for re-let.

This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, skilled Multi Trader looking for ongoing work, strong rates and regular hours, with materials delivered directly to site.

The Role:

Carry out general repairs and maintenance across void properties
Complete a range of multi trade works including carpentry, basic plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating
Carry out making good and remedial works
Repair or replace fixtures, fittings and damaged materials where required
Identify additional works and report any issues requiring attention
Work efficiently through properties to ensure they are ready for re-let
Maintain high standards of workmanship and leave properties clean and tidy
Manage your own workload and complete works within agreed timescales
Materials supplied and delivered directly to site
What We're Looking For:

Strong all-round Multi Trader with a property maintenance background
Previous social housing experience would be highly desirable
Void property experience would be advantageous
Confident working across multiple trades
Able to work independently without constant supervision
Good eye for detail and pride in your workmanship
Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines
Ideally based in Oxford or the surrounding areas
Requirements:

Own van required - a suitable estate car may be considered
Own basic tools
Previous property maintenance, repairs or construction experience
Right to work in the UK
Able to work Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30
Benefits:

Up to £220 per day
Ongoing work
Saturday work available at standard rate
Bank Holiday work paid at time and a half
No Sunday working
