We're looking for Qualified Nursery Practitioners to work with welcoming nursery and early years settings across Peterborough and surrounding areas. We have opportunities for people looking for greater flexibility as well as those hoping to settle into something longer term.
As a Qualified Nursery Practitioner, you'll be part of those everyday moments that matter enormously to young children - encouraging their first friendships, helping them discover something new, settling them when they need reassurance and making learning feel fun.
What will you be doing?
You'll support children throughout their nursery day, helping to create a happy, safe and stimulating environment where they can explore, play and develop.
Your role may include:
Planning and supporting age-appropriate activities
Encouraging learning through play and exploration
Supporting children's communication, social and emotional development
Following the EYFS framework
Observing and contributing to children's learning and development
Supporting routines including meals, outdoor play and personal care
Building warm, professional relationships with children, colleagues and families
What are we looking for?
For these Qualified Nursery Practitioner opportunities, you'll need:
A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification
Previous experience within a nursery or early years environment
A good understanding of the EYFS
A warm, patient and nurturing approach
A genuine love of helping little people learn and growMost importantly, we're looking for Nursery Practitioners who bring kindness, enthusiasm and plenty of smiles into their working day.
