Are you a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or Mechanical Fitter looking for a hands-on role offering excellent hourly rates, funded training, and a Monday-to-Friday working week?
Do you have experience working on plant or agricultural machinery, with a strong mechanical background and ideally some experience with hydraulics, welding, fabrication, crushers, or screeners?
This well-established engineering company specialises in the service, maintenance, repair, and examination of plant and agricultural machinery. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add a skilled Plant & Agricultural Fitter to their team.
In this role, you will carry out fault finding, diagnostics, servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance across a range of plant and agricultural machinery. The position will also offer opportunities to complete additional training, such as LOLER examinations and a 7.5-tonne licence.
This role would suit a Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer or Mechanical Fitter looking for a Monday-to-Friday position with no weekend work, alongside funded training, career development and regular company socials including events at Snetterton Race Track.
The Role:
Service, maintain, and repair plant and agricultural machinery
Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults
Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Work on crushers, screeners, and associated machinery
Carry out welding and fabrication repairs where required
Replace and repair hydraulic hoses
Carry out LOLER and thorough examinations
Use power tools and workshop equipment
Maintain a safe and organised working environment
The Person:
Plant Fitter, Agricultural Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, or similar background
Strong mechanical fitting and fault-finding experience
Full UK Driving Licence essential
