HGV Class 1 Drivers required for excellent temp-to-perm opportunities in Minworth!

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a well established operation offering simple, desirable, RDC work on  4 on, 4 off shift patterns.

This is an excellent opportunity for drivers looking for a consistent rota, modern vehicles, excellent earning potential and the opportunity to secure a full-time permanent position.

Pay & Earnings
Basic pay: £16.49 per hour + £1.00 per hour shift allowance (paid for every hour worked) + £1 per hour night shift allowance
Effective hourly rate: £18.49 per hour
Based on guaranteed 12-hour shifts, this provides minimum annual earnings of approximately £40,400
Overtime shifts available at time and a half
Additional earning opportunities available through overtimeThe Role
Trunking work, all deliveries to RDCs
4 on, 4 off shift pattern
12-hour shift average
Start times between 13:00 and 20:00 – driver preferences can be accommodated where reasonably possible
No handball and no self-tipping
All vehicles are 2023 or newer
All trucks are equipped with air conditioning, making them comfortable to drive during the warmer months

To be considered for the role, you must:

Hold a valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
Have a minimum of 3 months' Class 1 driving experience
Have no more than 9 points for minor driving offences
Be able to successfully complete a driving assessment
