How our sorting works

The order in which job vacancies are displayed is determined by a composite score based on the following factors:

  • Keyword Relevance: How well your search terms match the vacancy details. We prioritize matches found in the job title, followed by job requirements, location names, and educational levels. Matches within general employer information or the organization's name carry a lower weight.
  • Commercial Prioritization (Premium Jobs): Vacancies paid for by employers ('Premium' or 'Sponsored') receive a ranking boost and will appear higher in the search results.
  • Recency (Date Relevance): Newer vacancies are prioritized. The relevance score of a vacancy is reduced by half once the posting is older than 30 days.
  • Proximity (Distance Relevance): Vacancies located closer to your search location are ranked higher. For vacancies located more than 30 km from the search center, the relevance score is halved.
The final ranking is established by multiplying all these individual factors to calculate the total relevance score.

Duration: Approximately 1 month with possibility of going perm
    Start Date: ASAP
Hours: Monday to Friday / Flexible hours / Overtime available
Pay: Negotiable - dependent on experience

    The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electronic Assembly / Modular Assembly Technician for an immediate short-term opportunity.

This is a hands-on role within a busy, all-hands-on-deck environment, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and make an immediate contribution.

The successful candidate will ideally have solid experience in electronic assembly, modular assembly or a similar production environment, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently with minimal training or supervision.

    Key Responsibilities
    - Electronic assembly of modular components
    - Hands-on modular assembly and production
    - Quality testing and inspection of completed components
    - Following assembly instructions, specifications and quality requirements
    - Identifying and addressing assembly or quality issues
    - Working as part of a wider team to ensure components are built, tested and completed efficiently
    - Maintaining high standards of accuracy and workmanship

    About You
    - We're particularly interested in candidates with proven electronic assembly or modular assembly experience.
    - You'll need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and be able to quickly understand the requirements of the role.
    - This isn't a role where you'll have weeks of training - we need someone experienced who can get stuck in from day one.

Experience in areas such as the following would be highly relevant:
    - Electronic assembly
    - Modular assembly
    - Electrical/electronic production
    - Component assembly
    - Quality testing and inspection
    - Manufacturing or production environments

    Hours & Overtime
The role operates Monday to Friday, with flexibility around working hours.

There is also the opportunity to work significant overtime if desired, making this a potentially excellent opportunity for someone looking to maximise their earnings over the assignment.

    Pay
The rate is negotiable and will be based on your experience.

The client is prepared to pay for the right level of experience and expertise, so if you have the skills they need, don't be put off by the lack of a fixed rate.

    Apply Now
If you're an experienced Electronic Assembly / Modular Assembly Technician who is available for an immediate start and can hit the ground running, we'd like to hear from you.

Apply today or contact us directly for more information.
