The successful candidate will take overall responsibility for the care home, leading an experienced team and ensuring the care home continues to provide safe, compassionate and high-quality care while maintaining strong regulatory and operational standards.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will be responsible for:
* Overall leadership and management of the residential care home.
* Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred dementia care.
* Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and standards.
* Leading, developing and supporting the management and care teams.
* Managing recruitment, retention, supervision and staff development.
* Ensuring effective care planning, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures.
* Monitoring quality assurance, audits, incidents and complaints.
* Preparing for and managing CQC inspections.
* Working closely with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
* Managing staffing levels and ensuring safe workforce planning.
* Maintaining a positive and supportive culture throughout the service.
* Driving continuous improvement across the home.
* Supporting the commercial and operational performance of the service.
About You
We are looking for an experienced Registered Manager with a strong background in residential care and, ideally, specialist experience working with people living with dementia. You will need previous experience as a CQC Registered Manager within residential or nursing care as well as relevant Level 5 qualification in Leadership & Management for Adult Care, or equivalent.
